TRAVIS RANCH PTA 2017-18
• Raised and spent over $230k for our school!
• Financed the library renovation, new technology and alternative seating for classrooms, playground equipment, and a scholarship program for former Travis Ranch students graduating from High School
• Totaled over 10,000 volunteer hours
• Raised over $150k through our ES Jog-a-thon, MS Fun Run, and Quarter Mania/Silent Auction events!
• Provided educational enrichment grants of $100 for every teacher PK through Middle School
• Sponsored academic programs such as Elementary Music, Accelerated Reader, and Meet the Masters art program
• Coordinated 225 elementary and middle school students in Beauty and the Beast Jr. annual school play
• Organized over 25 speakers for almost 700 students for Middle School Career Day
• Paid for over 30 field trips and assemblies (including Walk Through California and Walk Through the Revolution) for students PK-8
• Organized Travis Ranch’s 30th anniversary including celebration, new tile wall, and school picture
• Coordinated and tracked 59 Reflections art contest submissions and winners
• Guided 120 students and families helping plant and clean up campus for Pride Day
• Managed 5th Grade’s return to Outdoor Education overnight science camp program
• Hosted Trunk or Treat, Family Movie Night, Travis Ranch Carnival, Holiday Gift Shop, Fall and Spring book fairs, Kinderball, Memory Book, Muffins for Mom, Red Ribbon Week, Read Across America, our TR Spelling Bee, and 5th and 8th grade celebrations
